after everyone logged off for the night on 2/6/10 me kimchii and cheguvara took advantage of the almost all cleared adds to see if we could figuire out anything about the lieutenant. when everyone left, we had a group of guldur wights (the slow and really strong ones) guarding a level needed to open the gate to the boss, and the 3 guards guarding the ramp to the boss.we had valshae pull the wights far down the ramp while myself and cheguvara were the the one level on the side where we cleared the wights, and after valshae pulled tehm down, i ran over to the level and flipped it while remaining out of combat. valshae then dropped group and the wights reset. afterwards, valshae came back up. he pulled the guards while we remained out of aggro range and took them up the left ramp, halfway up to the nazgul, he used pledge to stay alive while me and cheguvara went right. valsahe died, and then i rezzed him. we succesfully got to the top without having to kill the guards or the wights. we took a couple pics and then started teh fight. the nazgul marks the target he is going to attack with a green eye above their heads, and a red looking debuff. whoever has that debuff has to kite him. everyone in teh raid gets a debuff where their icpr is reduced to 0. the way turbine made it so it wouldnt be impossible is by giving the boss a debuff that when anyone attacks him (not sure if you need to use a skill or just auto attack) you get 40-50 power initially, and then 40-50 power every 5 seconds for 15 seconds. Aggro on this boss to kite is simple, no matter how much damage you do, and even if it says on your sleections target that he is selecting someone else than he is chasing, he will always chase the person with the debuff (at least until the debuff wears off). so hunters can be in strength stance. minstrels will have to use minor attacks on him to regen power. not to long after the debuff called "prey" (where teh nazgul chooses someone to chase after) wears off, he will fly up in the air and when he lands, he will generate a shadow pool. its recomended to put these pools near each other to give soem space to run, so whoever is targeted after the eye wears off needs to get near an existing pool. its also best to put the pools in the middle of the areba, since kiting around the outside edge is essential. and that is all that is all we learned about phase 1 of the lieutenant fight.

Good job guys! Jealous that I didn't hang around to playI'm looking forward to slugging it out with him on Wed. Does anyone know if we get trash respawn after a couple hours?
