Apparently you just rotate corruptions.

Here's the thread I pulled this from.

Some more good stuff:

First phase details. Although first phase is quite simple, we still need to work on shortening it to make the 2nd phase easier:

00:00 Morskor goes orange, selects a player, and says green eye text.
00:04 Green eye is visible on a player. Morskor does a proximity check and performs an attack.
00:07 Morskor chases the player with the green eye icon.

00:15 Morskor does a proximity check and performs an attack. This proximity check is at 00:15 if there
00:23 was no breath attack earlier and at 00:23 if there was.

00:30 Green eye disappears as Morskor stops, selects another player, and says green eye text.
00:34 Morskor chases the new green eye player.

00:45 Morskor greens out and moves to the center of the octagon.
00:50 Morskor flies into the air and searches for a clear spot to land.
00:57 Morskor lands and deposits a purple cloud of death.

01:00 Morskor goes orange, selects a player, and says green eye text. REPEAT from the top.

Re:Lieutenant Info 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Alright, basically use half the room for kiting. This is to help get more DPS on Morksor. I think melee DPS should be used very sparingly if at all during first phase. Basically, ever time you get caught with a breath or a tail swipe, you do 10k "reverse DPS". You'll be spending the whole fight trying to undo the problems you caused, don't think it's worth it. Burg mark being an exception here because that's mostly what they'll be able to contribute during this first phase.

The other idea here is that his landing doesn't seem all that random to me. Seems like he is landing in the proximity of someone. If that really is the case, then we should all run over to the fog half when he flies up. Previous post seems to indicate that he looks for a clear spot to land, if we find that is really the case then we should try to spread out on the kite side to "protect it"

As far as second phase goes. We spread out on the kite side. We need a healer assigned to heal the kiter. Because when the red corruption happens (and it will happen) they're going to get hurt, and we don't want them killed. Ideally the fogs will be few and clustered because of what we did during phase 1, this will allow kiting on the fog side. If not, folks that get the purple eye need to call out so the kiter can avoid them.

Use tank corruption removal (sting/feral strikes) to move us along in the corruption cycle. We should reserve the burst removal for the red corruption...I think there's a fear animation for it, but need to keep an eye out for it. So sting as often as you can. The champ should be stealing threat from the healer as often as possible. If we get stuck in a corruption cycle too long, might have to use a burst remove to keep use alive.

Anyways, my $.02 for now. Back to real work.

Re:Lieutenant Info 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
So I think there is some truth to the "find a clear spot to land and put a fear cloud".

Alas, we scatter from his last breath weapon/tail swipe which leaves the spot he was last in as a candidate for a cloud.

I think we could still be doing alot more DPS then we are during the first phase. It gets worse as we go on because the kiter has to dodge clouds which drags the dragon out of range. My damage is 20 and 30M and I found I was running alot to get in range for nukes.

Re:Lieutenant Info 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
So other folks seem to be getting to phase 2 in 3 to 4 clouds. We've definitely got to work on picking up the DPS. The other thing I seem to notice is that people are only slightly spread out, but looks way under 10m. So I'm thinking they are not worrying about purple eye on folks other than the tanks. The kiter does seem to avoid the area where the Lt is.

Maybe we should keep 10m from the tanks, 10m from tank's healers (in case aggro switches early on), but everyone else can run around. And once aggro settle on tanks, can group up to bring the Lt. down.

Re:Lieutenant Info 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Feel like I'm talking to myself here.

Is this thing on?

Tweaks are still needed for the Lt. Fight.

Phase 1 is still going very poorly and making phase 2 harder then we can probably handle. The kiter is a critical piece of this.

1) The kiter must not get hit. I think we were on our 2nd cloud and he was at full health!
2) Critical that the kiter not kite the mount out of the range of the DPS.

To this end, I think the kiter should ignore all clouds and continue to run the oval around the raid. When I got the eye, I tried to weave a path through the clouds and wasn't very successful, but I usually only got hit for < 1K per cloud. I also resisted the shadow damage sometimes (don't forget your full +15 rad set) I also managed to pull him out of range, I'm betting.

Folks need to watch for their own yellow eye. Calling out helps, but folks are reacting too slow. Almost all of these fights require the raider to take responsibility for the raid wiping/not wiping based on their own actions. Don't pot the fear eye, entire raid catches fear DoT. Don't run from the raid on the teal eye, blow up in the raid. Don't run from the mount with the yellow eye, heal him back to full.

Transition to phase 2. I don't think we can afford to strip all the healers off of the raid to focus on the tanks. Think the captains at a minimum have to stay back to heal the kiter and the minstrels have to keep one eye on their group.
